Jorts
Jorts have quickly become the go-to summer staple for everyone all over the world and were our most popular response for both men and women. Initially, I have to admit I wasn’t completely on board, but the recent arrival of my oversized, camo jorts, which are also a size too big, definitely shows my change of heart. The denim short, or jean-short (hence the abbreviation), is a classic piece that has been around for years, and the oversized silhouette is the redesign of our generation that will live on in history books. Think of the micro mini denim shorts of the early 2000s that we all know, whether you like them or not. A staple for both men and women, jorts are a super versatile piece you’ll find yourself reaching for every day. I am a big fan of all androgynous styles and paired with any top or jumper, Jorts are the perfect summer staple.

Linen Maxi Skirts
A light flowy linen skirt will take you from sunrise to sunset all summer long, and is the ultimate European Summer wardrobe essential. Perfect for any occasion, from beach trips, to brunch feasts, and dinner dates, it’s both cute and most importantly, comfortable, which is my number one priority on hot summer days. And don’t forget, white isn’t your only colour option even though it is a good one. You can wear a linen skirt as a bikini coverup with a cropped tank top, an oversized shirt, and any shoe from flip-flops to sneakers.

Cropped Shirts
Cropped shirts are such a great staple piece that every guy should have in their wardrobe. Now when I say cropped, I don’t mean a shirt that’s barely there – I mean the cropped length that only just reaches the waistband of your pants. Look for boxy-fit styles with that cropped length for the most flattering outfit silhouettes. Style with your favourite pair of jeans or shorts and sneakers for an easy everyday summer look.

Boxer Shorts
I love the Scandi chic aesthetic and boxer shorts making their way into my everyday wardrobe is no exception. Our favourites to look out for are pairs with bright colours and prints like the classic plaid or stripe. I have also seen a couple of leopard print pairs that I am in love with. Styling boxer shorts is easy – they can be paired with almost anything. An oversized t-shirt, blazer and biker boots is a perfect coffee date outfit. Pair with a relaxed-fit sweater for a casual day of running errands or studying.

Jeans
By no means is wearing jeans revolutionary in any way but the perfect pair of jeans will always be an incredible staple. Of course, the perfect pair of jeans for you is very individual and not necessarily the easiest thing to come by, but our favourite by far is a baggy or loose-fit style. Wearing a looser fit pair will come in handy when trying to stay cool, especially in the summer. A classic pair of jeans will carry you through the whole day. Try wearing them with a pair of sneakers, a polo or short-sleeved button-down shirt and your favourite baseball cap or sunnies.

Havianans
I am so excited to see Havaianas coming back into the spotlight and I love the Scandi styling that we are seeing them paired with. They’re an easy shoe to slide on and perfect for the beach and pool, but I also love seeing them styled in so many different ways. My favourite would have to be a pair of loose-fit trousers or jeans with an oversized button-up shirt or jacket, which is super cute and casual.

Adidas Sambas
The Adidas Samba has definitely been the it-shoe of 2024 and we don’t want it to go anywhere. It’s the most popular shoe voted by you and such an easy sneaker to wear with a casual pair of jeans or shorts. I believe the Samba is the low-top Converse of our generation in that it is a low-profile sneaker perfect for every occasion. Pair with a comfy pair of tracksuit shorts and an oversized sweater for an easy study day look, or a pair of jeans and a button-up shirt for a dinner or drinks outfit.
