LIVING IN: Chicago
OOTD: My go to outfit is always a small top and baggy bottoms usually paired with sneakers, loafers, or boots. I don’t wear much color so my outfits are pretty simple most of the time.
MY STYLE: I would say I lean more towards a tomboy femme style. I love baggy pants and wear them everyday, so to combat the boy-ish bottoms, I usually wear a more feminine top with jewelry and a purse.
FAVORITE TREND: My favorite fashion trend is all the faux fur I’ve been seeing and it’s perfect for the colder months.
EVERYDAY SHOE: Asics GT- 2160 ‘pure silver".
LAST PURCHASE: A faux fur coat from Aritzia.
FAVORITE AESTHETIC: Tomboy femme. I just love the look of mixing clothes that are supposed to be for a specific gender. You can get so creative and the options are endless.
ON THE WISHLIST: Maison Margiela Mary Jane Tabis.
BEST STYLE ADVICE: I would say dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. When I’m wearing clothes that aren’t “me” it definitely reflects in my mood and the energy I radiate to others. Don’t chase the trends just because your favorite influencer is wearing it. Wear pieces you actually like, not what other people like. Everyone’s style is so different and that’s why fashion is so fun.
STYLE INSPO: I get a lot of inspiration just by what I see throughout the day. I could be on a walk and see someone wearing a jacket that I like and then I think of how I would style the same jacket. Also Pinterest is definitely my go to place when I feel I need to be more creative in what I wear.
FASHION MUSE: A style icon that I’ve always loved is Bella Hadid. Other than that I follow a lot of smaller creators that have the best style and that’s who I get most of my inspo from.
STYLE TRENDS IN CHICAGO: I definitely see girls and boys wearing more oversized clothes in Chicago which I love. I’ve also been noticing a lot of fur and ballet flats.
FAVORITE CLOTHING BRANDS: I don’t have one specific brand that I always shop from. I see clothes I like on social media and shop for specific pieces not a specific brand, but I will say, recently I have found myself in Zara more often than normal. They have so many gems if you look hard enough.
CLOTHING ITEM I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT: Currently I can’t stop wearing my oversized denim from Zara. They’re the perfect shape and length that also look good with almost anything.
