Out with the old, in with the new. 2024 was the year of leopard print, bows, burgundy hues, and so much more. But as the new year unfolds, it’s time to place our bets on what’s coming next. So, we asked, and you answered. Here’s a list of trends to expect in 2025, according to the A Style Set community.
1. FRINGE
Boho chic is back, and fringe is at the forefront of this resurgence. This decorative trim adds a unique touch to any look, whether in the form of jackets, bags, or boots. Make it a statement piece, or give denim-on-denim a run for its money by layering multiple fringe garments together. Its versatility is a major plus, perfect for a western look, a classic rock vibe, and everything in between.

2. LACE
Get ready to channel your inner Stevie Nicks, because lace—and a lot of it—is making its way back into fashion this year as part of the bohemian revival. Expect to see this fabric in more flowy, babydoll silhouettes instead of fitted ones. Keep it casual with a pair of jeans and a lace top, or add a hint of sophistication by layering a lace bralette beneath a sheer dress.

It’s no wonder, given the increasing popularity of slimmer silhouettes in recent years. And if you’re rolling your eyes at the prospect of giving life to such a controversial item, worry not—it’s all about how you style them. Keep it chic and achieve that “model off-duty” look by pairing your skinny jeans with a full-length top and tall pointed-toe boots.
5. ANIMAL PRINT
In 2024, leopard print became a neutral staple in many of our closets. There’s no doubt that this Y2K classic will continue to follow us into the new year, but it won’t be alone—other animal patterns are making their mark. While there’s much debate about which design will be the next “it” trend, whether it's tiger, zebra, snake, or cow print, we’re ready to embrace them all. 6. MAXIMALIST ACCESSORIES
